Cameron - who is seen with a bandage covering his right eye - personally thanked staff for looking after him and "holding his hand" throughout the invasive procedure.
The brave hunk tweeted: "Yes team, thanks for looking after me (and letting me hold your hand throughout) (sic)"
It is not yet known what type of procedure Cameron underwent.
BANG Showbiz has contacted a representative for Cameron for further details of the operation.
