Kate Winslet is set to team up with Woody Allen.
The 40-year-old actress reportedly jumped at the chance to work with the legendary filmmaker, 80, on a forthcoming secret movie, which will be their first ever collaboration, although details surrounding the plot and title are being kept tightly under wraps for now, according to Variety.
The blonde beauty, who has been in the industry for well over two decades, is believed to be in the final stages of negotiations to take on the lead role.
Allen will write, direct and produce the untitled picture, while Letty Aronson and Edward Walson will help produce.
He's yet to seal the deal with a distributor but it's thought Amazon is highly likely considering their recent relationship.
Providing he secures his cast, the film is expected to go into production this year with the view it'll hit screens in 2018.
Meanwhile, it's certainly been a busy year so far for Allen as he's just finished shooting 'Cafe Society', which stars Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart in the lead roles.
Winslet, on the other hand, has just come off her Oscar-nominated role in 'Steve Jobs' and has just finished production on 'Collateral Beauty' alongside Will Smith.
She's also just been signed to the Fox drama 'The Mountain Between Us' alongside Idris Elba.
