'Love Island's Zara Holland has been stripped of her Miss Great Britain title after she had sex on the show.
The 20-year-old beauty has been "decrowned" by the organisation after she was caught on camera having a steamy session with co-star Alex Bowen on Wednesday (16.06.16).
A statement released from Miss Great Britain said: "We pride ourselves on promoting the positivity of pageants in modern society and this includes the promotion of a strong, positive female role model in our winners.
"The feedback we have received from pageant insiders and members of the general public is such that we cannot promote Zara as a positive role model moving forward.
"We wholly understand that everyone makes mistakes, but Zara, as an ambassador for Miss Great Britain, simply did not uphold the responsibility expected of the title."
The organisation later took to its official Twitter account to clear up suggestions they were condoning her having sex.
The tweet said: "To be clear we have no problem at all with sex-it is perfectly natural. We simply can't condone what happened on national TV (sic)."
The Miss Great Britain crown will now go to runner-up Deone Robertson, who had won Miss North Lanarkshire, and she will now compete in the Miss World competition later this year.
Zara was reduced to tears in Thursday night's (16.06.16) show when she learnt she'd been stripped of her title over the antics.
She told the cameras: "You know when you're in the moment and it just happens. That's really not like me at all. Why couldn't we have just gone to sleep?"
Meanwhile, 'Love Island's host Caroline Flack has admitted she feels "sorry" for Zara believes the punishment she's received for having sex is something from the "dark ages".
She tweeted: "[I] Feel even more sorry for Zara now she's been de-crowned. She's a very sweet girl . What even is 'miss GB' ? Are we living in the dark ages ? (sic)."
