Tina Turner to come out of retirement
Tina Turner plans to end her retirement from the live stage, the singer has announced in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Having bowed out of live performance after a world tour in 2000, the 68-year-old Turner told Winfrey she will be embarking on a US tour later this year.
The concerts will begin in Kansas City in October, and tickets are due to go on sale on the 12 May. No announcements about dates outside of the US have been made.
