EastEnders' Donna Yates to ask foster brother to father her child
EastEnders' Donna Yates has been left with no choice but to ask her foster brother Vincent Hubbard to father her child as she's desperate to start a family of her own.
EastEnders' Donna Yates is set to beg her foster brother Vincent Hubbard to father her child.
The bolshie market stall holder - portrayed by Lisa Hammond - is desperate to have a little family of her own but, without a boyfriend to help her produce a baby, she's forced to go to extreme lengths to get the ball rolling and decides there's no one better than the bad boy nightclub owner (Richard Blackwood) to make a little one with.
Lisa explained: "Vincent is shocked! He knew Donna wanted a child and was seriously looking into making it happen. The big surprise, however, is that she's asking him to help her. He certainly isn't anticipating it!"
But, after initially flying off the handle, Vincent comes round to the idea but will need to persuade his busy-body wife Kim Hubbard (Tameka Empson), with whom he already has daughter Pearl, to allow it to go ahead.
Lisa told Inside Soap magazine: "Donna looks around at the men in her life and sees how Vincent is with Pearl. She loves the way he is with his daughter, and regardless of some of the other things he might get up to, Donna believes he would always be there for her, no matter what ...
"Kim loses it! She thinks it's a ridiculous suggestion, and after considering all the logistics involved, she realises it would mean she'd be forced into some kind of relationship with Donna. And they've never been best of friends."
