Keeping you up to date with all the best new Scottish gigs announced in the last 24 hours:
More shows have been announced for the 02 Wireless Weekender's Glasgow leg. Joining Sam Sparro as support for his Oran Mor gig on 9 May are Frankmusic and Jack McManus, while the same night sees Elliot Minor appear at the Cathouse and a special Wireless Weekender club night at the Sub Club. That last event features Shortwave Set, Malakai and A.Human.
In other news, New York surf-rockers White Rabbits play Glasgow Nice 'n' Sleazy on 2 May, and fellow American up-and-comers Dusty Rhodes and the River Band have been announced as support for Dirty Pretty Things' Glasgow date at the ABC on 14 May.
A bunch of oldies will also be returning to Scotland, with The Stranglers announcing shows at Inverness Ironworks on 30 October, Dundee Fat Sam's on 31 October and Glasgow Carling Academy on 1 November; OMD are at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on 1 November; and Deacon Blue are playing Perth Concert Hall on 4 July.
Slightly less old-school are James, who have just announced a massive date at Glasgow SECC on 12 December, and Teenage Fanclub, who play a three-night stand at Glasgow's Oran Mor as part of the West End Festival. Those gigs are on 14, 15 and 16 June.
Finally, in late-night news, the huge and Pete Tong-approved trance collective Above and Beyond are playing a club date at Edinburgh's Liquid Room on 24 May.
