New gigs announced, 23 April - Hot Chip, The Music and more

  • 23 April 2008

Keeping you up to date with all the best new Scottish gigs announced in the last 24 hours:

Following a stunning set at the Barrowlands earlier this year, Hot Chip return to Glasgow's Carling Academy on the 2 November.

The Music are feeling their way back into this gigging malarkey slowly. Having recently completed progressively larger shows at Nice 'n' Sleazy and Stereo, and with a date at Glasgow's QMU coming up on 17 May, they finally find their level with a big show at Glasgow ABC on 5 July. It's also the last date of their UK tour.

Adele and Kate Nash-supporting reggae-popster Natty is back with two shows. He plays King Tut's, Glasgow on 31 May, and Cabaret Voltaire, Edinburgh on 3 June.

Hot Chip and Disclosure

Quirky uber-danceable electronica and poignant electro ballads from the classy 'Over and Over' collective.
