Maisie Williams has been cast in 'A Storm In The Eyes'.
The 'Game of Thrones' actress is confirmed to star alongside 'Far From The Madding Crowd's' Tom Sturridge, Stephen Dillane and 'Downton Abbey's' Joanne Froggatt, as well as Elle Fanning, Douglas Booth, Bel Powley and Ben Hardy in the film directed by Haifaa Al-Mansour.
The production, which is currently being filmed in Ireland and will relocate to Luxembourg on Monday (07.03.16), is based on the turbulent relationship between the Romantic poet Percy Shelley and the Gothic writer Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin.
The plot will depict their romance and show how the hit novel 'Frankenstein' was conceived at Lord Byron's House in Lake Geneva, which sees Mary forge her identity as a writer.
The period romantic drama will see Tom perform the role of Lord Byron.
Maisie - who has also starred in 'Doctor Who' - will play Mary's friend Isabel Baxter, while Stephen and Joanne will play Mary's father and stepmother respectively.
However, Mary's character is yet to be filled.
Elsewhere, Amy Baer, Ruth Coady and Alan Moloney - who produced award-winning 'Brooklyn' - will be behind the film-making, alongside co-producer David Grumbach.
