Hollyoaks airs shock return
'Hollyoaks' sinister serial killer Silas Blissett made a shock return to 'Hollyoaks' last night (19.01.16) to probe the gloved hand killings.
Silas Blissett made a shock return to 'Hollyoaks' last night (19.01.16).
The sinister serial killer - who is played by Jeff Rawle - stunned fans of the soap when he emerged as a mystery visitor to incarcerated Trevor Royle.
The E4 first look episode showed an unknown person preparing to visit Trevor - who is currently on remand under suspicion as the gloved hand killer - before he took a seat opposite the club boss and his distinctive voice was heard.
Silas, who during his stint in the village made it his mission to get rid of what he perceived to be promiscuous women before accidentally killing his own daughter, was posing as writer Mr. E Mann, having developed a morbid fascination with the gloved hand killings.
However, he soon realised he had made a wasted trip when Trevor (Greg Wood) insisted he wasn't the killer and had only invited him to visit to tell him to stop writing to him.
It is unclear as yet whether Silas will be back to unmask Lindsey Butterfield (Sophie Austin) as the real killer, or whether his former target Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) will be in danger once again.
Silas was arrested for his crimes in 2011 but escaped from a psychiatric unit the following year.
He was last seen boarding a bus full of young women going to a hen party.
