Brian McFadden signs up for The Jump
Westlife's Brian McFadden has reportedly agreed to take part in the forthcoming series of 'The Jump' as the Channel 4 show returns to the Austrian slopes for another year.
Brian McFadden has reportedly signed up for 'The Jump.'
The former Westlife singer, 35, is set to slip on his skis and head for the Austrian slopes early next year after inking a deal to take part in the popular Channel 4 reality TV show, presented by Davina McCall, according to Digital Spy.
And he's not the only one rumoured to be putting his agility to the test as he attempts to master various winter sports - including skeleton, bobsleigh, speed skating and giant slalom - as Linford Christie is also reportedly on the cards.
The former Olympic champion will no doubt give the other celebrities - expected to announced in the coming days - a run for their money as he pours his heart and soul into mastering some heart-racing death-defying stunts.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Linford's a brilliant signing. He's incredibly competitive and has an unbelievable will to win. But being a brilliant athlete doesn't necessarily mean he'll be great on the slopes as it's a completely different discipline. 'The Jump' has had sportsmen in the past and they haven't always done that well."
Meanwhile, Channel 4 is yet to confirm any names for the new series but has announced it will return to screens with a new format that will see the stars living in a house together.
