Mason Noise: 'I wasn't to blame for X Factor snub'
Mason Noise has blamed 'X Factor' no show on a "logistical miscommunication" between his management and show bosses.
Mason Noise has blamed 'X Factor' no show on a "logistical miscommunication".
The controversial contestant snubbed the 'X Factor' finale on Sunday night (13.12.15) when his fellow former contestants gathered for a collaborative performance but Mason claims that show bosses failed to book him a hotel room to stay in.
He said: "It wasn't really a choice (to not appear). There was some problem with my management and 'The X Factor' and then miscommunication logistically so I couldn't get there.
"It was logistics, the hotel wasn't sorted so we couldn't get down there. The show just didn't get back to us.
"I think it must have just been by accident, either they couldn't work it out or didn't respond."
However, Mason is happy with how things worked out as he doesn't think he would have fitted in with the performance of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' upbeat track 'Downtown'.
He added: "I didn't miss out."
"After watching it, it wasn't a great loss. After watching it, I was like, well, I don't think I would have fitted in there."
Contestants including Seann Miley Moore, Anton Stephans and Lauren Murray took to the stage at Wembley arena in London for a group rendition of 'Downtown' while Mason posted a cryptic tweet on his Twitter account.
Mason wrote: "I stand for what I believe in #AWE."
