Matt Baker caught-out peeing during Rickshaw Challenge
Matt Baker was caught casually going for a wee in a bush during the BBC Children in Need Rickshaw Challenge by a passing train
Matt Baker was caught peeing in a bush by a train full of passengers while doing the BBC Children in Need Rickshaw Challenge.
The 37-year-old presenter desperately needed to go to the toilet while cycling and ended up getting caught-out going for a wee on the side of a road.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "There was one embarrassing moment where I nipped behind a bush for a quick pee en route and there was a train going past tooting its horn, so apologies if you were on that train. Hopefully they didn't know it was me!"
Matt - who was riding with six children who have benefited from the support and money raised by Children in Need - has been amazed by the support and generosity of the general public and was thankful to a couple who rode out on a two-person bike to meet the Rickshaw Team at 2 am in Bristol.
He added: "The support that we've had has been incredible, even at crazy times of the day. At the 2 am start a couple came out and met us on a tandem in Bristol, which was wonderful. The streets have been lined with people and it's that energy and support that it is keeping Team Rickshaw going."
