Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman is reportedly in talks to star in the new 'Wonder Woman' movie.

Nicole Kidman is reportedly in talks to star in the new 'Wonder Woman' movie.

The Oscar-winning actress is wanted to appear alongside Israeli star Gal Gadot and Chris Pine in the eagerly-awaited new supehero movie from DC Comics, according to The Wrap.

Nicole, 48, is in negotiations over the role of a "high-ranking Amazonian warrior" in the debut solo film for Wonder Woman, who is set to be introduced in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice', which also stars Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill.

The speculation comes shortly after Nicole claimed she doesn't miss the Hollywood scene, having moved to Nashville with her family nine years ago.

She explained: "I don't miss the Hollywood life, definitely not. But I don't think I've ever been a part of that. I still put on a gown and go on the red carpet, and that's when you're all for a moment circling each other, and I know all those people.

"If you're committed to a fame path that's a whole different thing. But for me that's almost like the burden that comes with it. I don't say that complaining, but that's the part that's work so I can do the thing I love."
