Georgia May Foote has revealed her family home has been haunted by the ghost of an old lady who threatens to bite peoples toes for years
Georgia May Foote grew up in a haunted house.
The former 'Coronation Street' actress - who is currently competing on 'Strictly Come Dancing' - has revealed her family home has been terrorised by the spirit of an old lady for years.
Georgia explained: "I know a lot of people don't believe in this but my mum and dad's house, which they've had from when I was a kid, is absolutely riddled with ghosts.
"Everybody has had an experience in the back bedroom, which used to be my room.
"At the age of three every child has screamed and said there's an old lady trying to bite their toes.
"I remember it and my sister, to this day, can't sleep with her feet out of the bed.
"Every kid that turns three is like, 'There's a lady trying to bite my toes'. There have been doors shutting and people feeling like there is someone in the house -- it is really freaky.
"I'm 24 and I still won't sleep there on my own."
The brunette beauty - who is dating her former co-star Sean Ward - claimed even her parents are convinced something spooky is going on.
She told The Sun newspaper: "I remember Mum and Dad being in bed and they said they heard this massive bang.
"When they went into the bathroom all the shampoo bottles were in the bath.
"At that time they were digging up the back garden to build on it. It's a really old terrace near a mill, so there would have been a lot of people living there.
"My mum thought they disturbed something as lots of other things happened, such as the beds moving ... It's not even a big house -- it's just scary."
