Partick Folk Festival

Turn right at the bottom of Byres Road, past the Lismore Bar and you’re nearly at the Annexe - the hub of Partick’s annual little gem of a folk festival. From jazzy bagpipes to ancient song tradition, in concert and workshop. there’s music for all, and all ages. Dave Burland is a magnificent, mesmerising singer who has been there, has all the T shirts, from 50s English skiffle through to folk/rock, and he’s making a rare appearance in company with the gentle storytelling talents of Lanarkshire songwriter Tom Clelland (pictured), on Fri 1.

Various venues, Partick, Fri 1-Sun 3 Dec.
