Darcey Bussell has to wear her own clothes on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The former ballerina has revealed that while the celebrities and their professional partners are dressed in gorgeous outfits by the show's wardrobe team, she's forced to buy her own glamorous gowns and dresses.
She shared: "I have to supply all my own clothes. I try and persuade designers to lend them to me, although I can't really publicise them on the BBC. But I do answer queries from viewers if they ask about a particular outfit."
The 46-year-old star also opened up about growing older in the public eye and confessed she hates watching herself on the show.
Asked if she ever watches it, Darcey said: "Occasionally now but it took me some time. It was my friends rather than the producers who told me I should. I can't stand it for long but them I'm appalled by everything I do because I'm so self critical. It's the way I was taught. It has been embedded in me that I can always be better."
And Darcey admitted it takes her "hours" to wind down after the live shows.
She told HELLO! magazine: "I'm on an adrenaline high in just the same way as I used to be when I came offstage at the end of a ballet. It's a mixture of feeling totally exhausted and hugely stimulated."
