The X Factor's Chloe Paige: Six Chair Challenge like Gladiator battle
'The X Factor's Chloe Paige has claimed she's never felt as anxious as when she took part in the "gladiatorial" Six Chair Challenge
'The X Factor's Chloe Paige has compared the Six Chair Challenge to being in a gladiator battle.
The 21-year-old beauty - who is competing as part of Rita Ora's Girls category on the show - has confessed she found the famously brutal stage of the competition to be even worse than she'd imagined.
She explained: "I've never felt so much physical anxiety. I was exhausted for about nine days afterwards. What you see on TV isn't half of what really goes on. I went to watch the boys the day after our auditions and there were people booing and calling them boring. It's almost gladiatorial."
Chloe also responded to the abuse she received for wearing a bindi during her first audition.
She told OK! magazine: "I bought it as a fashion accessory, I didn't think for a minute that it might offend people. I feel awful that people were upset by it, but it taught me a valuable lesson about how things can spiral out of control very quickly."
