Dumfries electro popster's Barrowland gig is off

Calvin Harris has cancelled his upcoming live show at Barrowland, Glasgow, which was due to go ahead on Sunday 13 Apr.

A statement on the singer's official website ( reads: "We regret to inform that we have been forced to reschedule the forthcoming Calvin Harris and Friends shows due to a number of delays and issues relating back to last weeks freight and luggage problems whilst on tour in the USA."

It has been reported that a laptop containing the only copy of Harris' new album was lost at Heathrow Airport's new Terminal 5.

The statement continues: "In light of this Calvin will be forced to remain in Europe fulfilling delayed commitments. We would like to extend our apologies to the fans who were looking forward to the shows, he will be back in the UK performing soon."

A new date has still to be confirmed.

The Dumfries producer and DJ has become of the biggest EDM artists in the world, behind huge hits and even bigger collaborations including 'I Need Your Love', 'Blame', 'Summer' and 'We Found Love' with Rihanna.
