Stephanie Davis has taken to Twitter to admit she has "never been happier" after her final scenes on 'Hollyoaks' aired yesterday evening (17.09.15)
Stephanie Davis has "never been happier".
Fans of Channel 4 soap 'Hollyoaks' saw the 22-year-old actress bow out as feisty Sinead O'Connor on last night's (18.09.15) episode but in a series of tweets since her exit, the star has praised her time on the show, describing it as a "journey".
She wrote: "Not watched but hope u all enjoyed my last episode! Bye Sinead, it's been a journey! On to the futureeeeee. never been happier! #exciting
"Sat smiling with my baby @SamReece so happy, content and excited (sic)"
Meanwhile, Stephanie recently claimed it was her "choice" to leave the soap.
She shared: "It was ultimately my choice to leave! I just walked and then the producers told me if I didn't come back they'd have no option but to terminate my contract, but that it was my choice.
"I regret the way it ended - I probably should've gone about it in a better way, but I was desperate for a break."
However, a spokesperson for the actress clarified that it came about following warnings about her attendance.
They said: "Stephanie's contract was terminated following warnings for lateness, attendance and after a final incident in which she turned up to set unfit to work because of alcohol consumption."
