The Corrs comeback tour dates announced

Following their first appearance in ten years at London’s Hyde Park, Irish pop-rock quartet The Corrs have announced a comeback tour, set to kick off Tue 19 Jan, 2016, at Birmingham Genting Arena.

From Birmingham, the band will embark on an extensive, eight-date arena tour the length of England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, including shows at The SSE Hydro, Glasgow, on Wed 26 Jan and The O2 in London, 23 Jan.

The band will release a brand new studio album, White Light, 27 Nov on East West Records, their first album since 2004’s Borrowed Heaven.

Fronted by Andrea on lead vocals, The Corrs hit big in the mid-90s (remember Talk on Corners?) and early 2000s, selling over 30 million albums with the mix of traditional Celtic music with a pop rock twist. Since 2005 the band – Sharon (violin, vocals), Caroline (drums, piano, vocals), Jim (guitar, piano, vocals) – have been raising families and pursuing solo interests.

The Corrs 2016 tour dates are:
Tue 19 Jan – Genting Arena, Birmingham
Wed 20 Jan – Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff
Fri 22 Jan – Echo Arena, Liverpool
Sat 23 Jan – The O2, London
Sun 24 Jan – Manchester Arena
Tue 26 Jan – The SSE Hydro, Glasgow
Thu 28 Jan – 3 Arena, Dublin
Fri 29 Jan – SSE Arena, Belfast

Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Monday 21 September.
