Joe Waller quits X Factor

Joe Waller has quit the 'X Factor'.
The talent hopeful's audition for the ITV show was shown on last night's episode (13.09.15) but it has since emerged that the contestant, who received four yeses and flirted with judge Rita Ora, has chosen to abandon his chances.
A spokesperson confirmed: "Further to his arena audition, Joe informed producers that he no longer wanted to continue in the competition. Subsequently he did not attend Boot Camp."
Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror newspaper reports that Joe - who is a primary school teacher - insisted it was in the best interest of his career to exit the ITV show.
In a social media post, he explained: "So mid-week I received a completely random email from the X Factor team. Although I made the choice to not continue in the programme because I felt it was the best thing for my career at the time, they have decided to air my audition. SO I PROMISE I DIDN'T LIE ABOUT ANYTHING... But they have chosen to air my audition even though I chose to leave.
"The only worrying thing is.... TV editors have the ability to mould a number of shots into any story and although I was true to myself and to both of my professions it still is a worrying concept. If you have read previous comments on here I messed up my first song and did well on the second which is how I got through. So there is a possibility they will show me messing up and nothing else.... But that's what I signed up for and they have the right to do so. (sic)"
