The 'Coronation Street' set was hit by a swarm of flying ants.
Filming for the ITV show was thrown into chaos by the bugs, which are coming out of their nests due to the hot weather.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "The actresses in particular didn't like last week.
"It wasn't pleasant having ants flying at their hair during filming but everyone was professional.
"The ants were in danger of stopping filming though as they were everywhere."
Tina O'Brien, who plays Sarah-Louise Platt on the soap, recently tweeted about the plight.
She wrote: "12hr work day, attacked by flying ants at @itvcorrie. (sic)"
Meanwhile, Lucy Fallon and Jack P. Shepherd have teased the dark times ahead for the Platt family.
Lucy - who plays Bethany Platt said: "What's coming up for Bethany is very intense. Some really scary things are going to happen involving her and the Platts - and it's quite a brave storyline, so I think viewers will be surprised. This could be the wake-up call she needs to straighten herself out."
Whilst Jack - who plays her uncle David Platt - added: "We're gearing up for the live episode - and there's lots of action involving the Platts. It's all building towards David being out for revenge - but only time will tell as to whether he's finally met his match in Callum."
