Dance music band to begin their UK tour in Scotland, following the release of 20th anniversary album
British electronica group Faithless have confirmed a date at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow this November, as part of a series of live performances across the UK. They will also play Birmingham and London, before finishing the tour in Manchester.
This follows the release of Faithless 2.0 in October, a specially-curated 20th anniversary remix album, which features a host of fellow high-profile dance music aficionados (including DJ Tiesto, Eric Prydz and Armin Van Buren) interpreting classic Faithless tracks. Avicii's version of 'Insomnia' is already available to listen to. The group have also, somehow, managed to squeeze in some of their own new music into the record, which is available to pre-order now, via iTunes, Amazon and Google Play.
Faithless was formed in early 1995 and released their debut single 'Salva Mea' later that year. The group, consisting of Maxi Jazz, Sister Bliss and Rollo, quickly became renowned for their dance music, especially hit singles 'Insomnia' and 'God is a DJ'. They have since sold millions of copies of their six studio albums worldwide.
After announcing their separation in 2011, Faithless decided to reunite earlier this year to celebrate 20 years since the band's formation.
Their 20th anniversary tour will begin in Glasgow on 25 Nov, before playing dates in Birmingham, London and Manchester, hitting the following venues:
The SSE Hydro, Glasgow – Wed 25 Nov.
Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham – Wed 2 Dec.
Alexandra Palace, London – Fri 4 Dec.
Manchester Arena – Sat 5 Dec.
Presales available from 9am on Wed 5 Aug; tickets on sale to general public from 9am on Fri 7 Aug.
