David Sedaris announces two London shows

The American humourist will play Cadogan Hall in Chelsea next February

David Sedaris, literary superstar and sardonist supreme, has announced he will perform at Chelsea’s Cadogan Hall on 21 and 22 Feb, 2016.

Sedaris is no stranger to the Cadogan, indeed Jenny Éclair talks about seeing him there – an event that cemented him as one of her comedy heroes. This appearance comes after a UK tour – An Evening with David Sedaris – that ended in June this year.

Sedaris is a renowned author and satirist, dripping with cynical wit and biting prose. You’ll know him from his appearances on This American Life and his collection of essays Me Talk Pretty Some Day, but he’s also the author of Barrel Fever, Holidays on Ice and Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls, plus a few more collections of essays: Naked, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim and When You are Engulfed in Flames. As if that wasn’t enough to convince you of his majesty, his BBC Radio 4 series Meet David Sedaris has been running for three series and he also writes plays – alongside sister Amy Sedaris – under the moniker The Talent Family.

An Evening with David Sedaris, 21 & 22 Feb 2016, Cadogan Hall, tickets on sale now.
