Gemma Collins doesn't "believe in therapy".

The 'Only Way Is Essex' star says she finds it best working on pieces for her clothing line to help get rid of any "negative energy" she may have.

She said: "I don't believe in therapy. Sitting down and designing a dress, going to meetings and keeping busy - it's like my therapy. My life can be quite stressful and I combat the negative energy by doing what I love.

"I'm not one to sit on a couch and bare my soul - I'm a hard worker and so I'll get up and get on with things. I don't think that makes me a diva- it's just how I deal with bad times.

"Yeah I'm an upbeat person but everyone needs their down time. For some it's chilling by a pool at the Ocean club but mines sitting down with the team and planning my next collection... Although I definitely wouldn't turn down the first one."

The 34-year-old television personality also admitted she would be ditching her "GC persona" in favour of the "real" Gemma.

Speaking to her management The Can Group, she added: "GC is a persona definitely, the real me is a lot more than that and people need to realise that. No-one will see the real me completely just from pictures in a magazine or something on TV you know?

"I spend my life rambling on about my collection - I think people get bored of it but I listen to them jabber on about their dogs or love lives so they have to listen!

"Everyone has tough times and for me it's all about keeping busy and focusing on happiness. There's nothing like having a women strut her stuff in something you created - even George Clooney can't beat that..."
