Fear the Walking Dead will be exclusively broadcast on AMC, launching on BT TV in September
AMC is coming to the UK. The American cable channel that has showcased US television series Breaking Bad, Mad Men and Better Call Saul arrives in the UK this September, exclusive to BT TV.
AMC will broadcast the UK premiere of Fear the Walking Dead , a spin-off of horror drama series The Walking Dead that follows a set of new characters living in LA as the world is transformed into a zombie apocalypse. The channel will also broadcast AMC dramas, scripted series from other producers and feature films.
AMC first launched outside the US in late 2014 and is now available in 125 countries. The addition of AMC to BT TV is the latest in a series of deals by the platform. BT now has two premier league football packages, Netflix and a new BT Store service offering ‘buy to keep’ films and TV box sets, including HBO title Game of Thrones.
How can you watch BT TV? As BT TV transmits channels through IPTV, BT requires customers to sign up to the BT Broadband internet and phone service to use BT TV. So, unless you're already a subscriber or planning on switching, you might need to find other means of enjoying the West Coast zombie flavour.
