Bryan Ferry announces rescheduled live dates
Postponed June UK tour dates moved to October as singer's voice on the mend
Bought tickets to see crooner Bryan Ferry this month only to have your night ruined due to a pesky, last minute throat infection? Good news, the former Roxy Music man has just announced rescheduled concert dates for those UK shows due to take place in June.
The bad news? Well, the Royal Albert Hall is an exceedingly popular venue it seems and has no availability within the next 12 months. So if you had tickets to the venerable concert hall you're advised to contact your point of purchase for details about obtaining refunds, because this show is cancelled. However, the announcement does suggest that an alternative venue is in the works, so keep your eye peeled for further news.
'I was devastated to have to stop the tour prematurely and thank all the fans for their patience and all the messages of goodwill, says Ferry. 'We will rebook a new London show as soon as possible for all the fans who have missed out.'
Rescheduled dates are as follows:
Guildhall, Portsmouth – Thu 1 Oct
Lighthouse, Poole – Sat 3 Oct
Colston Hall, Bristol – Mon 5 Oct
Dome, Brighton – Wed 7 Oct
