Following their YouTube announcement that the band will release a new album this year the thrash metal veterans have announced a series of live gigs in November.

Glasgow, O2 Academy, 25 Nov
Birmingham, O2 Academy, 27 Nov

Brixton, O2 Academy, 30 Nov

New album Repentless will be released on Nuclear Blast on 11 November. It is the first album the band have made since the death of founding guitarist Jeff Hanneman in 2013. The current line-up features original members Tom Araya and Kerry King with Gary Holt on guitar and Paul Bostaph on drums. No one mention Dave Lombardo.

The tour features fellow American thrash metal band Anthrax and Norway’s heavy metal six-piece Kvelertak as special guests. Best prepare for some serious head banging.

Tickets are available on O2 Priority from Wednesday 3 June and on general release from Friday 5 June priced £40. Until then check out their recent Record Store Day single 'When The Stillness Comes'.
