Ant-Man will appear in 'Captain America: Civil War'.

Marvel has confirmed that Paul Rudd's on-screen character Scott Lang will be seen alongside some of the 'Avengers' in the third 'Captain America' movie, with production set to begin in Atlanta, Georgia.

Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson, as well as Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle and Elizabeth Olsen will all reprise their Marvel characters from 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' in 'Captain America: Civil War'.

Other returning Marvel characters include Winter Soldier, played by Sebastian Stan, and Falcon, who's played by Anthony Mackie.

This comes shortly after Chris Evans - who plays Captain America - suggested the eagerly-awaited new film will see the superhero develop a serious love interest, even though the 33-year-old actor suspects the character is a virgin.

Looking forward to the new film, he said: "I think we really scratched the surface on something great and I think there's just so much to explore.

"Not just with the evolution of myself and [Anthony Mackie's character, Falcon], but the reconnection with Bucky, and ultimately a relationship with a woman."

Asked specifically whether the next film will feature a love interest, Chris said: "It's funny when you think about it - he's probably a virgin. He's probably a virgin! I don't know when it would've happened."

When world leaders demand that the Avengers operate under UN supervision, the team splits. If you haven't seen previous instalments it will make no sense, but if you have, all the plot points bear bittersweet fruit, in a brilliant combination of hectic action and one liners with intimate, heartbreaking moments.
