Kym Marsh targeted by 'sicko' impersonator
Kym Marsh has branded an online stalker a "sicko" after they set up a fake email account in her name and began chatting to her friends via email
Kym Marsh has been targeted by an impersonator online.
The 'Coronation Street' star has reportedly been left "shaken" and branded the culprit a "sicko" after they set up a fake email account in her name and began emailing her close friends.
He is even said to have tried to organise a meeting with her pals, some of whom had fallen for the prank, before one of them became suspicious and alerted her.
The 38-year-old actress is said to have been left disturbed by his actions.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "It was very disturbing. God knows what his motivation was. It was probably just a twisted desire to cause Kym problems."
It isn't the first time the brunette beauty has fallen victim online after she was sent death threats last year. She is also said to have received hate mail and x-rated pictures from a man who had a history of targeting actresses.
The source added: "She has been left really shaken by this because it is not the first time she has become a target."
