Van Morrison will perform a charity concert in London.
The 69-year-old musician has been announced as the headline act for a rock'n'roll fundraiser at Porchester Hall on 24 June, which will be held to raise money for Focus12 which supports people suffering from drug and alcohol addiction.
Speaking about the event, Andy Yacoub, Chief Executive of Focus12 said: "We are deeply indebted to the generosity of all those who support us. Money raised will help our treatment centre to continue to provide the amazing services we provide our clients and those close to them."
The 'Brown Eyed Girl' hitmaker is set to sing tracks from his 57-year back catalogue at the concert, which will be the largest single fundraising event ever held for the charity, with a live auction with exclusive musical memorabilia also being held during the evening.
The announcement of his performance for the charity - which is supported by patrons Davina McCall, Russell Brand, Boy George and Joe Pasquale - comes just weeks after the iconic star released his 36th studio album 'Duets: Re-working the Catalogue', on which he revisited a selection of his previous tracks.
