'The Avengers: Age of Ultron' star Mark Ruffalo fears Robert Downey Jr considers him "a little insane"
Mark Ruffalo worries Robert Downey Jr considers him "a little insane".
The 47-year-old actor - who stars alongside the Hollywood icon in 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron' - has revealed he's developed a close friendship with the Iron Man actor, even if Downey Jr considers him to be a little quirky.
Ruffalo said: "He's been just a bro to me.
"He also, he thinks I'm a little insane. So when we get into those moments (during filming), we are half laughing through the whole thing. He's half like, 'Ruffalo, how do you even get up out of bed?'
"He has the most endearing sort of patience and tolerance for me. And we literally are laughing behind everything. I don't know what's going to come up with him, which makes it so much fun and alive."
Ruffalo also revealed his co-star helped him to overcome his fears of joining the iconic franchise.
Ruffalo - who plays the Hulk/Bruce Banner - told People magazine: "He's kind of my godfather in the world. He sort of gave me the okay to come join and has sort of bolstered me along the way when I've had my doubts, which are plenty. And he has made sure that (Bruce) Banner's been well represented."
