Jeremy Paxman loves watching Take Me Out
Jeremy Paxman has confessed he loves watching reality TV and is a big fan of Paddy McGuinness' ITV dating show 'Take Me Out'.
Jeremy Paxman thinks 'Take Me Out' is "fantastic".
The 'University Challenge' host has revealed he's a big fan of reality TV and particularly enjoys watching the ITV dating show presented by comedian Paddy McGuinness.
He said: "I have watched 'The Only Way Is Essex'. Of course, I know who Joey Essex is.
"I didn't like it as much as I like 'Take Me Out', which I think is a fantastic show."
However, the 64-year-old broadcaster confessed he's not too keen on E4's 'Made In Chelsea' because he doesn't like the show's stars, who include Spencer Matthews, Jamie Laing and Lucy Watson.
He told Radio Times magazine: "I don't like the people in it - it's probably a reflection on me, not them."
Jeremy also admitted he no longer watches the BBC's current affairs programme 'Newsnight' after stepping down as host.
He shared: "I don't have any second thoughts about my decision. I don't see 'Newsnight'. My idea of fun is to go to bed at 10.30pm and read a book."
However, he still maintains an interest in politics and thinks Russell Brand is an "idiot" for encouraging other people to join him in not voting in the general election.
He added: "I'm just astonished anyone would take that position seriously. It's the position of an idiot."
