Hollywood director Joss Whedon has refused to rule out a 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' movie
Joss Whedon has refused to rule out a 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' movie.
The 50-year-old director - who created the American television series, which ran from 1997 until 2003 - has not dismissed the idea totally, but says his immediate priority is to take a break from work after finishing making 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'.
Asked if there was any prospect of a Buffy movie getting made, Joss told BANG Showbiz: "Never rule anything out, but I haven't got anything planned at this stage."
Joss also admitted he's a perfectionist and thinks numerous aspects of the 'Avengers' film could be improved.
Speaking at the European premiere of his new movie, Joss said: "Everything [could be better]. The problem with a film like this is that you get into this momentum when you're editing and you don't really get to stand back and look at it.
"These screenings are almost test screenings for me, but unfortunately they're test screenings where you've already passed fail. You can't make it up later.
"The biggest challenge was the script stage and the editing stage - shooting it was a delight. Figuring out what to keep and what to cut was excruciating."
