Oscar-winning star Liam Neeson has revealed he doesn't film a fight scene more than three times.

Liam Neeson doesn't film a fight scene more than three times because he fears he'll get "exhausted".

The 62-year-old actor - who starred as ex-covert operative Bryan Mills in the 'Taken' franchise - has revealed he lacks the stamina needed to film action scenes more than three times.

Reflecting on his experience of filming action movies, Liam told 'El Hormiguero': "Each shot depends on lot of things but at the third, I'm exhausted, so we try not to repeat each scene more than three times.

"We rehearse a lot fights so that when we shot there is no accident and no punch, at least until now."

This comes after Liam revealed he is planning to quit action films and confessed he wants to move on from the genre in the next couple of years.

He said: "Maybe two more years - if God spares me, and I'm healthy. But after that, I'll stop [the action], I think."

Liam said although he's enjoyed great success with action films, he knows it can't go on forever.

He admitted: "I'm in a very, career-wise, great place. The success certainly of the Taken films, Hollywood seems to see me in a different light. I get sent quite a few action-orientated scripts, which is great. I'm not knocking it. It's very flattering. But there is a limit of course."
