Dermot O'Leary has congratulated Caroline Flack and Olly Murs after they were announced as the new hosts of 'The X Factor'.
The 41-year-old presenter took to his Twitter account last night (16.04.15) after the former 'Xtra Factor' hosts were confirmed as his replacements following his decision to step down from the ITV singing competition earlier this year.
He wrote: "Huge congrats to @ollyofficial and @carolineflack1 be gentle with the old girl...that's the show, not Louis. (sic)"
The announcement comes after weeks of speculation as to whether or not the former colleagues - who hosted the ITV2 spin off show together from 2011 to 2012 before Caroline was joined by Matt Richardson for a further year - would reunite on the main show.
Meanwhile, it's yet to be confirmed who out of last year's judging panel - Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Mel B and Louis Walsh - will be returning later this year after producers announced a shake up.
However, Simon has hinted that both he and Cheryl will be back while Louis has confessed he thinks his time is up.
He said previously: "I think I'm done with 'X Factor', honestly. My day job is a manager, I've kind of neglected that. I want to get back to being a manager."
