The recently-formed supergroup, comprising art rockers Franz Ferdinand and American fraternal duo Sparks, have released the first single of their forthcoming debut album.

The 12-track, self-titled album will be released on Monday 8 June on Domino. It will also be available as a 16-track double vinyl and deluxe CD edition featuring the extra tracks ‘So Many Bridges’, ‘King Of The Song’, ‘Look At Me’ and ‘A Violent Death’. Opening track ‘Johnny Delusional’ is now available via iTunes and to watch on YouTube (see below).

FFS drops just before the band set out on their European tour. UK dates include;

Art School, Glasgow, 16 June
The Troxy, London, 29 June
Festival Theatre, Edinburgh, 24 June
Albert Hall, Manchester, 25 June

As yet the band are not appearing at any UK summer festivals, but are booked to play plenty in Europe including Benicassim (Spain), Summer Odyssee (Zurich), Super Bock Super Rock (Lisbon) and Rock En Seine (Paris).
