Denise Van Outen's 'EastEnders' character is to embark on a romance with Max Branning.
The 40-year-old beauty is set to make her debut as businesswoman Karin Smart on tonight's (09.04.15) episode of the BBC One soap and it's now been revealed one of the men in the love triangle she is to be a part of is the womanising car dealer played by Jake Wood.
Speaking about having to passionately kiss Max - who Karin meets up with to secure a business deal before falling for his charms - Denise told The Sun newspaper: "I had never met him before and it was straight away, my first scene on my first day.
"Jake actually said to me, 'This is a bit of an icebreaker'. But you just have to go for it. There's a lot of kissing and touching involved. I was running my hands all over his head. But he's a real sex symbol in the gay community so it was fine.
"We just ended up laughing about it and it felt quite fun."
It's unclear as of yet who the other man in Karin's love triangle will be but it's reported she has history with Phil Mitchell (Steve Madden) who she will be seen looking for following her arrival in Albert Square.
Denise revealed her character would be involved in a love triangle earlier this year after being asked who Karin would be dating.
She said at the time: "It's not just one person - that's all I'm saying.
"My character will come in and I'm going to cause some trouble."
