Josh Hutcherson is glad to have finished working on 'The Hunger Games' movies because he hated the blonde hair he has in the films

Josh Hutcherson hated his 'Hunger Games' hair.

The 22-year-old actor revealed he's pleased to have finished shooting the four blockbuster movies because it means he can get rid of his blonde locks and won't have to spend so much time getting his hair done each day.

He admitted: "I'm excited to shed the blonde hair! That's the thing that I was like, 'Get out of here!' Having to do touch ups all the time and get my hair redyed and bleached, was not my thing at all."

The star plays Peeta Mellark in the movies - with the final instalment 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2' being released later this year - and although he's looking forward to getting his hair back to normal, he admitted he will miss his pals on set such as Katniss Everdeen actress Jennifer Lawrence, having spent so much time with them during the last few years while filming.

He told ABC News: "I'm going to miss just being with everyone that much. We are all still close and see each other on a fairly regular basis. When you are filming, it's 12 plus hours a day for months at a time. It's kind of sad, because you had such a great time making them, now it's coming to a close. But also, I think everyone is ready to move on to the next stages of their careers and lives and everything."

In the final part of the saga, as the plot and pace pick up, Katniss (Lawrence) plots to kill Snow (Sutherland) and heads to the capital with a team of rebels. Bar a couple of stand-out scenes, it plods a bit and Lawrence feels like she's outgrown the role. Functional rather than fantastic.
