Demi Lovato wants to collaborate with Eminem.
The 22-year-old singer is keen to work with the rapper on her fifth studio album, and believes they would work well together because they are both in "recovery".
She admitted: "I would love to work with Eminem actually ... I can relate to him with being in recovery and things like that so I think we could make something awesome together."
The 'Heart Attack' hitmaker has previously had spells in rehab after struggling with depression, eating disorders and self-harm, while the 42-year-old rapper has had a much-publicised struggle with drug addiction during his career.
And the former Disney star revealed she is hoping to be "authentic" to herself on the upcoming record, suggesting fans should "expect ballads".
She told ET Online: "This year, it's super important to me that I embrace who I am as an artist and to become more authentic to who I am.
"I want to release music that is different, that I've never done before ... and that showcases who I am and what I can do vocally. I'm excited to explore with different sounds which is what I'm doing in the studio right now and to see what comes about.
"You can expect ballads, but it's all about balance."
