Lily Allen is in talks to star in the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' sequel.

The 29-year-old singer recently met with director Sam Taylor-Johnson at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood, where they spent 90 minutes together in conversation, and a friend has speculated they were talking about Lily making an appearance in the next 'Fifty Shades' movie.

The insider said: "They were definitely making some plans. They are friends, and move in the same circles in London, they're in that trendy set. Lily would be the perfect person to work on the next Fifty Shades movie."

Lily has been in Los Angeles working on her new music, but her profile is thought to be ideally suited to starring in the next movie based on the erotic novels by E.L. James.

The insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "She is cool and young, and would bring a new edge to it, especially after all of the rows that have supposedly gone on behind the scenes.

"Lily is an extremely talented and versatile star who would do a fantastic job."

Last week, meanwhile, it was reported Jamie Dornan is "committed" to a 'Fifty Shades of Grey' sequel.

Dornan, 32, wants to continue his role as Christian Grey in the erotic film because it "benefits" his family - which includes his wife Amelia and their 15-month-old daughter Dulcie.

Following speculation that Dornan would walk away from the franchise, a source shared: "It's quite the opposite and they (Dornan and his wife) are both committed to the project because of the benefits to the family."

Chart-topping sunny pop, often with a melancholy lyrical undertone or some caustic social comment, from one of the UK's most idiosyncratic stars.

No surprises here: Anastasia (Johnson) gets sweet-talked back into the red room by Christian (Dornan). Foley seems to be under orders to skip the actual sex, as the real money shots are of Christian’s wardrobe. Johnson manages to be likeable and human, but otherwise it’s high on production values and short on story.
