Gemma Collins left 'very shaken' after home burgled
Gemma Collins admits she's feeling "very shaken" and intends to start looking for somewhere else to live after her home in Essex was broken into earlier this week
Gemma Collins has been left "very shaken" after her Essex home was burgled.
The 'Only Way Is Essex' star has revealed she's going to start looking for a new home after intruders broke into her apartment in Brentwood and stole two diamond rings.
She said: I'm very shaken. I am going to have to move now. I will definitely have to find a new home.
"It's not about my possessions, it's just knowing that someone was watching me and looking out for me and then have quickly got out. It's freaky and a bit spooky."
The 34-year-old beauty - who has starred in the ITVBe show since it first started in 2009 - explained how she came face to face with the burglars as she arrived home earlier this week.
She told the Brentwood Gazette newspaper: "As I pulled onto the drive where I live I saw in my flat window that the light was on and the blind was down, which wasn't how I left it.
"As I walked towards the entrance I crossed the thieves. They pelted down the stairs and walked straight past me.
"I could tell by the way they were dressed that they were up to no good.
"They didn't look like the sort of people that live at The Galleries.
"They were wearing jogging bottoms and they looked out of place.
"When I got up to my flat the door was open so I ran to the concierge and we called the police.
"They had emptied out all my jewellery and stole two diamond rings."
The crime took place on Monday (23.02.15) and Gemma has since revealed that the intruders have been caught on CCTV.
She wrote on Twitter: "So happy the two guys that robbed my home yesterday you have been caught on camera face on everything trashing my home and stealing #sick (sic)."
