Georgia May Foote looking for 'dream part'
Georgia May Foote has confessed she's on the hunt for her "dream part" after announcing her departure from 'Coronation Street'.
Georgia May Foote is looking for her "dream part".
The 'Coronation Street' actress is set to leave the ITV soap later this year and claims she isn't planning to pursue jobs based on the reputation of a show but rather on the quality of character.
She explained: "It's not necessarily about the type of show, but more a role that I'd find intriguing and could get excited about. I'm looking for the dream part rather than the dream show."
The 23-year-old star admits she intends to audition for acting roles in the United States as well but insists she won't get sucked into the cliché of trying to "break Hollywood".
She shared: "TV's amazing, but to do a film would be unbelievable. That's my dream. I'm going to LA for auditions, but now you can also audition by video and send it over, so I'll probably do as many LA tryouts as British ones. I'd love to go over there when the time is right and try it, but I'm not going to say I want to break Hollywood."
The brunette beauty is also looking forward to doing more modelling work since being signed by Select Model Management.
Georgia added to Now magazine: "Acting is my main focus, yes, but I'm so excited about modelling a bit more. Its another avenue for me and an amazing opportunity."
