Hollywood star Johnny Depp has revealed his favourite ever role was his cameo appearance in 'The Fast Show', in 1997
Johnny Depp's favourite ever role was his cameo appearance in the last episode of 'The Fast Show'.
The 51-year-old Hollywood star, who's featured in hit movies such as 'Edward Scissorhands' and the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' franchise, has revealed his appearance in the iconic BBC comedy show marked the peak of his career.
Depp - who appeared on the show in 1997 - explained: "It was absolutely one of my proudest achievements.
"No question. It was one of my favourite things, to have been on the last Fast Show."
Although the show returned for one-off specials, Depp's appearance was, at the time, billed as the last ever sketch from the last ever episode.
In the sketch, Depp is subjected to a series of inappropriately personal questions from Ken and Kenneth, the show's innuendo-loving tailors, prompting him to use their iconic phrase "ohh, suits you".
Meanwhile, Depp also revealed that his latest character, Charles Mortdecai, has been heavily influence by two of Britain's most famous actors: The Pink Panther's Peter Sellers and comedian Terry-Thomas.
Speaking about his role in 'Mortdecai' - in which he plays a moustached art dealer - Depp told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It was a great salute to those actors that were able to pull off that kinda comedy in a caper film.
"Peter Sellers certainly, and a great deal is based on Terry-Thomas. He's always been a favourite."
