Brian Wilson to Return to the UK for Three Greatest Hits Shows

  • 27 February 2008

Following great reviews and critical acclaim for Brian Wilson’s 2007 World Tour, which included 6 sold out nights at London’s Royal Festival Hall, the co-founder of the Beach Boys has announced that he’ll be back in the UK for three very special ‘Greatest Hits’ shows in the summer of 2008.

Brian Wilson and his band will be opening the 2008 Kenwood Concert season, outdoors at London’s Kenwood House on Saturday 28 June, he’ll then take the show Ipswich to perform at the Regent Theatre on Sunday 29 June, and his last UK show of 2008 will be in London’s Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday 1 July.

Born and raised in California, Wilson co-founded The Beach Boys with his two younger brothers Carl and Dennis, cousin Mike Love and school friend Alan Jardine. They became the most successful American rock band in history.

These concerts mark Brian Wilson’s eighth return to the UK.
