Ben Stiller owns magical tablet
Ben Stiller got to keep the magical golden Tablet of Ahkmenrah from 'Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb' when filming wrapped on the film.
Ben Stiller has a magical golden tablet in his house.
The 49-year-old actor was gifted the Tablet of Ahkmenrah when filming wrapped on 'Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb', in which the fictional Egyptian artefact has the power to bring the exhibits to life.
Stiller was thrilled when director Shawn Levy presented him with the prop as a keepsake from his time playing night guard Larry Daley in the movie trilogy.
When asked if he has any mementos from the film series, he told BANG Showbiz: "I got the tablet; it was given to me by Shawn. I haven't gotten up at night yet to watch it to see if it works."
Stiller is not the only cast member to have a keepsake from the film as Rebel Wilson - who plays British night guard Tilly - still has her hat.
However, Dan Stevens is still waiting to receive the sword he wielded as Sir Lancelot in the comedy adventure - which is in cinemas now.
He said: "I want my sword, I want it but they haven't sent it to me yet."
Director Levy has promised Stevens he will get the prop, saying: "If we haven't sent you the sword, I'll make that happen."
'Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb' - which also stars Owen Wilson, Sir Ben Kingsley, Ricky Gervais and the late Robin Williams - is out in cinemas on December 19.
