Five Christmas markets in Glasgow and Edinburgh selling unique gifts, festive fayre and the all important Glühwein
European Christmas Market
Whether it's authentically German or not, Edinburgh's biggest Christmas market certainly takes its cues from similar events across Europe. For your fill of festive wooden toys, meaty sausages and Glühwein, there's nowhere better to be than this hive of twinkly stalls in the heart of the city.

Glasgow Christmas Market
The biggest and best in the city, Glasgow's Christmas market is resplendent with German bratwurst, sweet treats and a mind-boggling array of gifts and decorations. There's also the return of the legendary Glühwein house, which sates your festive hunger with Glühwein, Bavarian beers and mulled cider in all sorts of festive flavours.

Indulge the comic geek in your life as The Big Glasgow Comic Page presents a full day of comic-y goodness. There are more than 27 vendors touting their graphic wares with everything from back issues to fan art, craft and more.

Summerhall Christmas Market
Summerhall takes on the Christmas spirit with abandon: you can enjoy carol singing, mince pies and mulled drinks aplenty while you wander the festive market which hosts 50 stalls from businesses across the city.

Tea Green Festive Makers Market
Enjoy some mulled wine (but of course) at this market where independent Scottish artists and designers present their own fashion, design, jewellery, textile and fine art work. Plus, goodie bags for the first 30 visitors.
