Featuring DJ Luck & MC Neat, Secondcity, Huntleys & Palmers, Pressure Xmas Party and Big Foot

Top five Glasgow club nights Christmas 2014

Clubbing is an integral part of some people’s festive fun. Thank the lord, then, that Henry Northmore has the skinny on hot nights in Glasgow and Edinburgh

DJ Luck & MC Neat
If you want to start the celebrations as soon as December hits, step back in time for some classic UK garage from the DJ / MC duo who gave the world 'A Little Bit of Luck', 'Masterblaster 2000' and 'Piano Loco'.

Saint Judes, Fri 5 Dec.

Good vibes and big tunes as Secondcity (aka producer Rowan Harrington) headlines this rescheduled date. Expect the no 1 smash 'I Wanna Feel' and other huge house cuts, plus support from Dale Howard with more to be confirmed.

SWG3, Sat 13 Dec.

Huntleys & Palmers
This genre-hopping celebration of underground beats returns to Glasgow for their seventh birthday party. Producers John Talabot and Axel Boman in their Talaboman guise join the fun on the main floor, while Highlife explore the best electronic beats from around the world downstairs.

The Art School, Fri 19 Dec.

Pressure Xmas Party
A club night that needs little introduction as your hosts Slam take charge with a pre-Christmas set of deep house and techno. Their very special guest, German superstar DJ Sven Väth, will be taking charge across three exciting hours.

The Arches, Fri 19 Dec.

Big Foot

It’s sixth birthday time for Big Foot's crew. The line-up has still to be confirmed but previous guests have included Andrew Weatherall, Nina Kraviz and Move D, so expect someone of a similar stature as they draw on an enviable contacts list on the fringes of electronica and techno.

Sub Club, Sun 21 Dec.

More techno action from Slam featuring some big-name guests.

Huntleys & Palmers Audio Club

Intelligent techno, wonky electro and many more genres besides.

DJ best known for number 1 hit 'I Wanna Feel'.
