'Avengers: Age of Ultron' will conclude with a revamped superhero team.

Kevin Feige, the President of Marvel Studios, has confirmed widespread rumours that the iconic lineup will look different at the end of the much-hyped 2015 sequel.

He told BuzzFeed: "The Avengers films, ideally, in the grand plan are always big, giant linchpins.

"It's like as it was in publishing, when each of the characters would go on their own adventures and then occasionally team up for a big, 12-issue mega-event. Then they would go back into their own comics, and be changed from whatever that event was.

"I envision the same thing occurring after this movie, because the [Avengers] roster is altered by the finale of this film."

The new film will see the introduction of Marvel characters Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and the Vision, while Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L Jackson and Cobie Smulders will all reprise their previous roles.

The trailer for the eagerly-awaited new flick - which opens next year - has already broke Marvel records, attracting as many as 34.3 million views in the first 24 hours alone.

Ultron, an artificial intelligence created by Tony Stark (Downey Jr) to keep the peace, goes rogue and decides to kill off the Avengers. Barely logical but impressively entertaining superhero fun; Johansson and Olsen are central to the action and Whedon's script is strong, snappy and irreverent, but it doesn't have much…
