Paul Weller has written a song for Olly Murs.
The 'Changingman' hitmaker was so impressed when he heard a cover the 'Troublemaker' singer had performed of his track 'Broken Stones' in 2012, he offered to work with him on his new album 'Never Been Better'.
Explaining the origins of the soulful track, 'Let Me In', Olly told The Sun newspaper: "I was at a gig and Paul came up to me and said, 'I loved the version of 'Broken Stones' you did.'
"He said, 'Are you writing at the moment? I'll send you some songs.'
"We went into the studio and reworked one.
"To get an endorsement from the Modfather himself is special. He's a musical legend."
And Olly - who shot to fame after coming second on 'The X Factor' in 2009 - admitted he was initially expected the former Jam rocker to be dismissive of him because of his reality show past.
He told the Metro newspaper: "'Oh, you're from X Factor, you don't write your own songs, rah, rah, rah,' I felt like Paul was going to be one of those characters, but he wasn't.
"We had a right laugh and we wrote a song together: I think that's what it should be.
"It shouldn't be where you're from, or where you've come from, it should be right here, right now."
Olly's new album also features a duet with Demi Lovato, 'UP', and a collaboration with Travie McCoy, 'Wrapped Up', which will be the first single from the record.
